Two days of repair, reuse
and clothes that last.
A community weekend in Torquay about mending what we own, buying less, and supporting local makers. Hands-on workshops, a maker showroom, and a fashion show made entirely from reused materials. Everyone's welcome and entry is free.

A community event about keeping clothes in use for longer.
Sustainable Fashion Week Hub Torquay is run by Minycled and is part of A Single Thread. It's a friendly two-day event where people can learn repair and upcycling skills, meet local makers, and see what's possible when clothes are reused instead of thrown away.
It's built on people helping each other, not on selling. Makers keep every penny they earn, and the weekend is open to anyone who wants to come.
RESISTANCE.
This year's theme asks people to challenge the current fashion system and imagine a better one — resisting overconsumption, fast fashion and waste, while supporting independent businesses, repairing instead of replacing, and making thoughtful choices about what we buy.
